 ARM Operation Principles

The compressed air is cooled with ambient air and then is passed through the turbine at relatively low temperature and quite high pressure.

Expanding in the turbine, the air gives energy to the shaft, accomplishing net work output and recuperating a part of energy, while its temperature decreases to the required rate, and it is delivered into a chamber.

From the chamber the air with obtained higher temperature passes through the recuperating heat exchanger and returns to the compressor.
